Currently,WinPE or Bart PE (Pre-installation Environment). This is the bane of my existence.
What I've learned so far.
Learning that WinPE is available in the OEM tool kit and finally getting it.
Playing with Bart PE and getting Cisco VPN and Citrix to work on it.
Learning how Autorun works and doesn't work.

What I'm looking for now.
A way to stop the Windows Hardware Logo Test from running on the Deterministic Network driver when it's loaded.
regsvr32 /s vsdata.dll
bartpe -c s -I dni_dne
net start cvpndrva
net start cvpnd
Oh the above starts the Cisco VPN Gui on PE.
I've tried to stop this with
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing] to 0 but BartPE ignores this entry. (I think)
I've been playing with a WatchDriversSigningPolicy which sets the
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing] to 1
and then bypassed the Logo test.. but it doesn't like autorun or the network startup sequence.
Hopefully I'll blog the answer next time.
