Loading to HP5270 Thin Clients

Ok.. I guess sometimes when you get a new device reading the white papers that come with it, might make your life easier. HP Thin Clients use a Third party software solution to load the Embedded OS Image to the systems. You will need to go to Altiris to get the software to manage the systems.

Cool thing is the systems can be managed remotely across the network, you can bundle packages to deploy or schedule full image replacement on the embedded system.

Cool stuff.. Great to lock out all your un-friendly staff that play with the systems and cause you too much work and energy to repair them.

Oh.. Now I'm just waiting for the Embedded tool kit to arrive from our local ODM seeing how OEM's can let you have it. Once I get the DEV kit, I'm planning to convert the Win PE custom shell image that was created, to work on the embedded thin clients.
